Flower growers have long revealed the benefits of banana peel, and therefore never throw away this valuable fertilizer.

It turns out that such a primitive additive can bring maximum benefit even to a very whimsical plant like an orchid. We will tell you about everything in order.

How to make fertilizer from banana peel

The fertilizer contains all the elements necessary for orchid flowering, such as potassium, magnesium and phosphorus.

For such a delicate flower, three ways of preparing an additive are recommended.

Infusion

It is the easiest to prepare. The peel of three bananas is filled with three liters of water and infused for two days, after which it is diluted with settled water in a ratio of 1:1. The additive is used for watering.

Tea

The peel needs to be dried, then finely chopped or ground with a blender. 1 teaspoon of "tea leaves" is poured with a glass of boiling water, used, after the tea leaves cool down, is applied under the root.

Powder

To do this, it is most convenient to dry the peel on a baking sheet in the oven, until it becomes dry and crispy.

After it cools down, the peel needs to be powdered, you can use your hands.

Feed the flower with 1 teaspoon of powder per plant.
