How and where to plant lemongrass

Schisandra is planted from August to October and from March to May.

Typically, at least three plants are planted at least 1 m apart.

If you decide to plant near the house, keep a distance of at least one and a half meters from the wall to rid the roots of the plant from water that will drain from the roof.

What place does lemongrass like

It is better for him to choose a place in partial shade, among low bushes. Schisandra loves light, fertile, well-drained soils, neutral or slightly acidic.

On clay soils it grows in a bushy form.

Does not like wetlands and cannot withstand flooding and groundwater.

How to feed lemongrass

In April, lemongrass is fed with nitrogen fertilizer - saltpeter.

In summer, liquid organic matter must be added once every three weeks.

To increase the resistance of plants to unfavorable environmental conditions, root and foliar feeding is carried out.
