Lots of modern people can't imagine their lives without coffee - it helps them to wake up, to concentrate, or to stay awake when they need to get lots of work done.

But you can get addicted to caffeine, and some signs can help you understand that you probably drink too much coffee.

Here are some of them.

Sleep disturbances

If you find it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep, and you suspect that coffee consumption is the cause, it may be a sign that you're consuming too much caffeine.

Increased heart rate and restlessness

If you notice that your heart rate is consistently higher than usual, or you feel overly anxious and agitated after consuming coffee, it may be an indication that you're consuming more than your body can tolerate.

Digestive issues

Coffee is known to stimulate the digestive system, and excessive consumption can lead to digestive problems such as acid reflux, stomach upset, and even diarrhea.

Dependency and withdrawal symptoms

If you find that you need coffee to function or experience withdrawal symptoms like headaches, irritability, and difficulty concentrating when you try to cut back or stop consuming coffee, it may be a sign that your caffeine intake is excessive.

Disrupted hydration levels

If you notice that you're frequently thirsty or experiencing symptoms of dehydration, such as dry mouth or dark-colored urine, it could be due to excessive coffee consumption.
