Crumbly rice will be obtained every time if you know one trick.

Before cooking, grits should be fried in a saucepan with vegetable oil for 2 minutes.

What will give such a culinary trick? Rice will not boil into a porridge and will not stick together.

First of all, you need to heat the vegetable oil at the bottom of the pan. Pour out the washed rice and fry on low heat.

Now salt, pour in water (1.5 cups of boiling water for 1 cup of rice) and cook the cereal for 15 minutes under a closed lid.

Stir the rice once, after that we do not climb into the pan with a spoon once again.

After cooking, leave the rice for another half hour, preferably covering the pan with a towel. We do not drain the water, the rice will absorb all the excess moisture.

Thanks to such tricks, the rice will cook perfectly crumbly.

We put a piece of butter in the cooked rice, mix it and serve it on the table as a side dish for any fish or meat dishes.
