It is pleasant when your towels are soft and fluffy after washing and they don’t scratch the skin like sandpaper.
However, not all powders, softeners and conditioners solve the problem. Moreover, most of them are very expensive.
Here are some simple methods to avoid spending money on expensive powders and get soft towels after washing.
Conditioner
Conditioner softens fabrics impregnating fibers. It works with a storage effect. That’s why it will be harder to rinse the conditioner out of fibers after each washing.
Conditioners contain fragrances which are not natural, but fully chemical.
Freshness
If your towels haven’t been washed for a long time and smell with dampness, you should use lemon acid, laundry soap and a package.
Rub dirty towels with a soap and put them into a package.
Mix some tablespoons of lemon acid in 100 ml of water. You may add one more spoon of lemon acid. Pour this mixture into the package with your towel so the water will soak it.
Then wrap the towels into the package and put it into a microwave. Turn it on for 2-3 minutes on high power for disinfecting the towels.
At last, you should rinse the towels and put them into a washing machine.
Spots
Wash the towels at the temperature of 60 degrees. Dirt is removed well in this washing mode. For strengthening an effect, add 2 teaspoons of baking soda into the washing machine.
Softness
In order for make your towels softer, add 3-4 spoons of vinegar and 7-10 drops of essential oil into the rinsing compartment of your washing machine.
After this procedure your towels will be soft, perfumed and they will perfectly absorb moisture.
