Vegetable oil can be used not only for cooking, but also in everyday life.

What can you do with old vegetable oil

It is absolutely forbidden to eat old oil.

Nevertheless, it can be used as an oil for cuticles and nails on the hands and feet, or for impregnation of any wooden products.

Vegetable oils such as olive oil or coconut oil can be effective in removing grease residue and stains from kitchen surfaces.

Simply apply a small amount of oil to a cloth or sponge and wipe the dirty areas thoroughly.

Is it possible to pour vegetable oil down the drain

Pouring vegetable oil into the sink or toilet is not recommended.

Oil does not dissolve in water, but, on the contrary, thickens.

If you pour it into a sink or toilet in an apartment, the oil will settle on the walls of the pipes.

This can cause clogs and an unpleasant odor.

Therefore, after cooking, pour the remaining oil not into the sink, but into the trash. Use paper napkins for this.
