Sow seeds in February, March and early April.

If you do this in mid-April or later, then in open ground they can bloom only at the end of summer.

Eggplant seeds germinate within a few weeks.

For good development and fruiting, eggplants need an air temperature of at least 21-27 C.

How to plant eggplants in open ground correctly

To avoid damaging the roots of the plants, plant them with a lump of moist soil.

In addition, the roots in the hole should not break.

After this, you need to sprinkle the hole with the seedling with soil, lightly press it down and water it with warm water.

After this, the eggplants must be mulched with peat, sawdust or humus.

Plant 3-4 eggplants per square meter.

Be sure to use only well-rotted compost or humus.
